Can't sing in to twitter on windows mobile 7 (htc hd 7)?

Hey guys, I see a few people have had this problem as people have said in the marketplace reviews. Some reason I can't sing in on the official twitter app, or 3rd party twitter apps on my windows mobile 7 device, htc hd 7. Is this because I have changed my twitter name in the past? Or is there actually a solution?
