Hi, the wireless router was working fine before but does not anymore. Also the internet works fine when connected to just the modem, but when I try to connect it to the router, it doesn't work. The lights are still on for both the modem and router. The wireless router is a Netgear WGR14v7 and two of the lights are green, but there is an orange light.
The wires are going into the right places and I have tried unplugging and plugging both the router and the modem. I also tried resetting the router.
When just connected to the modem (internet is fine):
IP address is 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
When switched to router and modem (internet does not work):
IP: 169.254.220.136
Subnet: 255.555.0.0
Default:
(Default Gateway is blank)
Any suggestions or advice would be great, thanks! Also it is Windows 7.
