can't set email up

hi folks, i'm pretty new round here, got a sony ericsson xperia x10i this week, contracted to 02 and my main email address is with ntlworld. setting up google mail was a breeze, but no matter how i try to set up the ntlworld account up it just won't have it. i tried various ways with pop3 and IMAP, not sure what i'm doing wrong. so if anybody out there is running what i'm running i'd love to hear how they configured things. any help would be greatly appreciated as practically all my email correspondence is via th ntlworld, thank you for taking the time to read this
