Cant Send Or Receive Text Messages Need Help Please !!!

I recentlly bought an i855 unlocked off e-bay so I could upgrade from my crappy i205 and while I love the phone I can not send or receive text messages on it. i signed up for the messaging plan through nextel and that still does not work I dont want to do a master reset because it is an unlocked phone im not sure what would happen. I really want to get these pictures Im taking off my phone can someone please help out a newbie and let me know how to fix this or if there is a program I can get that will let me get the pictures off my phone that is all I really want to do.

From a landline or another phone call in to tech support and they will have you do some things on your phone or tell you to take it in to local store,one way or another this will generally get it resolved, and mention the unuseable time and a credit will sometimes be given. Best of luck to you.
 
You cant have your boost phone unlocked and have a nextel sims card and send a text message it dont work.. dont worry theres nothing wrong with your phone.. same thing if you have a nextel phone and a boost sims in there texting dont work.
 
The SIM is the problem. That phone is going to need a black sim card and they are right, you cannot swap between Boost and Nextel phones and cards.....they will also eventually totally kill the phone
