cant restore my iPhone 4!!!?

im selling my iphone 4 for a HTC HD 7 but my iphone wont update to iOS 4.3 or retore to 4.2.1
im gonna meet up with the guy tomorrow andmy iphone is stuck in recovery mode
please help
i cant get to my apple retail store
i dont want the buyer to think it dosent want to work

i have the latest version of itunes (10.2.1) i get error 1013!!!

please help!
