Can't remove emblem adhesive off car. HELP!?

Hi! I just removed the "Accord" emblem off my Honda 2007 car. It came off quite easily as I used a hair blow dryer and floss to pull it out. The only thing is, that it left quite a bit of gunk/adhesive behind stuck onto the paint.

I used everything that I could think of, such as Goo Gone, nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol, charcoal fluid, etc. but it is not taking it completely off. The "gunk" seems to be PART of the paint now, and I believe that I may have overheated the gunk from the hair dryer, and it melted onto the paint.

So how do I remove this? I don't even think that it's adhesive anymore. I was able to take off the stickiness, but now there's still a layer of "gunk" left. It's smooth if I run my fingers across it, and actually seems to be supersuper stuck onto the paint.

So is there anything I can do? Or am i stuck with this gunk on my car. I was even thinking about taking my car to Kragen's or something to have them take it off.
