Can't remember the title or author of a short story I read in Lit Class. Help?

Now, I read this a few years back and I forget the title and author. I also hardly remember the details so I'm hoping at least someone will be able to help me out. It's basically a science fiction short story about a totalitarian government. There's a mother and father watching TV and whenever they think too hard or too much a device in their ear buzzes. And the father sees that his son (who had been taken away years ago by the government) has escaped and is wanted. Then the husband and wife watch some ballet performance and the son breaks in dances with one of the ballerinas and are both killed.
