So I watched this in Elementary school, I think it had a pretty basic name but I can't remember it at all. I remember the kid is like running through the woods or something? And a spaceship picks him up, when he's inside it talks to him, it goes like super fast, there are weird animals in cages in the spaceship, and when it brings him back even though it seemed like he was only gone an hour or something years have past. He goes to what he thought was his house and there is a different family living there. Also, I remember something random about a boat? That him and his family were on or something. It's either 80's or 90's I don't remember but it has the spaceship on the cover of the movie. Any suggestions would be awesome! 5 stars for the best answer too.
