I have a new one, trying to clean up the old one. It is S-L-O-W, and bogged down with tons of stuff. I stuck an XP PRO CD into it thinking I would wipe it clean and use it for small stuff, but it won't let me do it. Says the version of XP on my computer is newer than the one I'm trying to install. Then I tried to format the C drive, but it tells me something is using it... probably Norton (which I hate and can't figure out how to turn it off). But then, I'm guessing at the Norton problem. Re-formatting sure use to be a lot easier. I even went to the DOS prompt, but that didn't do any good either. How do I reformat this dang thing???
