Can't receive Facebook notifications on my Blackberry Storm?

I used to be able to but it seems ever since I downloaded the update for the Blackberry FB app it won't work anymore. I don't receive emails on my phone from FB anymore or no notifications. Note: I do not use the SMS notifications, that is different. I checked my FB and made sure it was on the right email and that the notifications were on and they are. I've re-downloaded the FB app on my Blackberry Storm several times and nothing seems to work!! Please help!! I really miss the notifications!!

This happens to me too and I have a Curve. Let me ask, do you get ANY notifications? For me, I only get notifications if someone comments on my status, photo, link, etc. but I do not get any when someone sends me a message or writes on my wall. I just updated to the new version of FB by uninstalling and re-downloading it and it worked for like 20 mins giving me wall notifications but then it stopped. I also don't think it has to do with the SMS notifications, you're right, those are different. Sorry I know this doesn't really answer your question but just know you're not alone!
