Can't open the manual sliding doors on 2004 Toyota Sienna from the outside or

the inside,open door light is on? As i stated in the question i cannot open either side of the manual sliding doors and the open door alert light is lit. This happened while i was driving and i dont understand why. How can i fix this problem?
