My boyfriend bought a Nikon FM2 from Cord Camera Store a few weeks ago, and I'm using it for some classes next quarter. I've never used a film SLR, so I looked it up to see how to open the back. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, because whenever I release the little lever thing it doesn't open? there's no film in it and neither of us have opened it since we got it. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with it. Could someone tell me step-by-step how to open the back of my camera?
