I donated blood last tuesday through the red cross and something went wrong during the procedure. As soon as she put the needle in my arm, my arm started to swell up (looked like an egg), so they took the needle out and I didn't get to give enough blood to give away. I haven't been able to move my arm since last tuesday (exactly a week now) and at first it only bruised around the place where they stuck the needle. This past sunday, however, I woke up and had a huge bruise around my elbow. I was able to bend my arm a little friday/saturday, but now it hurts really bad when I try to move it. What do you think is wrong?! And the upper part of my arm hurts more than the lower part of my arm.

Weird. Maybe they poked a giant nerve line.

There was a blood battle going on at my campus a couple weeks ago and I remember someone saying "They poked me over and over but they never found the vein"
