Honestly xbox has been ticking me off lately, whether it's that I can't download M rated games cuz I'm 17 even though I have parents consent, or just trying to renew xbox live.
Personally I'm not military but I am in Japan with my mom on a US Air Force Base, Yokota. As far as city/state goes it's APO/AP but xbox doesn't seem to have that. I went to the main site to see if I could find the region that may include the military areas as far as states are concerned but it only said something about changing once every 12 months, and it didn't even list japan. Obviously people in japan play and I have friends who got live too but they have a US billing address so they don't get this problem. I don't know japanese either so don't think I'll change my xbox to full japanese x.x (no offense to the language or place itself, the people are great).
Still basically I'd like to know how the hell I can fix this. I never had a single problem with the ps3 but as soon as I decide, "oh hey, why not give the 360 slim a shot", I have to put up with all the shit like only msn emails, you need to be 18 for 17+ games, and the military, the people who are out their busting their asses off for people in the states, can't even receive the appreciation from xbox and get APO, or any of the other overseas addresses accepted.
I may have missed something or there could be another way to get to the APO listing that I didn't see, so if that's the case (which I really hope it is), please tell me what I need to do to get xbox to accept my live card (bought it in a store, so it's under redeem code, I don't have a credit/debit card). I can live with the 17 crap since I'll be able to switch to an adult account by march but it just kinda ticks me off when sites don't even add in the military addresses even though they deserve the right to be listed just as much, if not even more than the other states. We may be located around the country, but the bases are US soil
