My battery died a few days ago, it's only 6 months old. I tried jumping my car from my friends chevy cobalt. The cables are a little rusty but i have jumpstarted with them many many times before. We were getting some sparks when u attatch the battery, but my car would hardly take any charge at all. Like you hear one click and the guages move but thats it. My friend was connecting the cables on his car from the Positive end of the battery to the ground of the car instead of the negative terminal. I'm pretty sure this is correct and he said he has jumped people like this before. All the fuses are fine. It wont even charge enough to turn on the lights... Any Ideas??
