Cant install big games into my iPhone?

i bought Splinter Cell 3 days ago but wasn't able to install it to my iPhone coz every time i sync it, it says that i don't have enough free space. I still have 1 gig free memory and the splinter cell is only 500 mb.What do i do?
 
dont try to do the same it will hang your mobile at every time you start any application
it may also decrease your battery life
