I am surprised you can function at all being on all of those meds. Surprised you are not a zombie.

It is not your girlfriend's place to take care of your personal care, no wonder she is getting fed up. You need to push harder to get the assistance you need.

Have you had physical therapy to help you regain more use of your body?

Call a social worker at your local hospital and ask what is available to you and go from there.

Everyone is not cut out to be a caregiver, maybe your girlfriend is one of those. Caregiving is difficult, I have done my share in the past for my mil, parents, etc.

I would think there are three ways she can go, continue to care for you, leave, or accept help in the house. You may need to do what you would have to if you did not have a girlfriend or wife.

Menopause is more difficult for some women than it seems to be for others. It is not a pleasant time for a woman or those around her. We do have self control during menopause, some choose not to use it and use menopause as an excuse for everything.

There is another thought that came to mind, if you are living in your girlfriend's house you may have no choice but to leave in order to be cared for.

I am sorry you are in this position but I do see both sides.
