i have recently bought a pair of Gamecom 367 gaming headset. It has two plugs (gold plated, 3.5mm) one for the sound and one for the mic. In the back of my computer i have three circular input holes (blue, red, green) It sais that the red one is for mic, green is for sound (headphones) and the blue one for webcam. on my headphones, the sound plug is colored black and the mic PLUG is colored red. i have gone through the control panel (sounds and Audio devices) and tryed many things but cant get my microphone tester thing to pick up my voice. the mic is exended fully and NOT muted, there is sound coming through my headset perfectly well though ????
PLEASE HELP, I AM DESPERATE

ok ok calm down. this is easy but it takes steps. first make sure the plugs are in well. sometimes they get loose from tugging on them. also see if your computer has the outputs in the front cause mine are in the front and respond to the ones in the front. anyways next go to control panel and go to sounds in classic view. oh and check if you installed the software in the computer because some headsets require that. anyways after doing that, your headset should pop up as being loaded go to properties and make sure the headset is enabled and make sure your controller information is correct for where you put your connections in. then go to advanced and test the mic out. that should be all
