I can't get my car into gear (2007 pt cruiser), or at least very easily. This problem always arises the day after a long drive, so i took it to the dealer, but even they couldn't think of what was wrong since the problem will come and go, and its all gears that have trouble. The transmission was completely changed a few weeks ago (covered by warranty) because of this issue, but the problem has reappeared. It's almost as though when i try to put it in gear, the car doesn't acknowledge that i have the clutch completely depressed, and when it does finally get into gear, it takes three or four tries, and makes a couple of thuds. What is wrong?
