...pre-installed dvd playing software)? i decided to dig out an old dvd probably about 5 years old always kept in case and play it on my computer since i don't have a stand alone player when i put it in it had to install InterActual player from the disc to work i did that but it wouldn't play the dvd so i did as suggested changed the screen settings no joy re-started no joy i tried to play it using intervideo windvd that came with the pc and it said the dvd was not a recognized device
is there something i need to download or settings i need to change to guarantee the disc will play the movie.i've not encountered this problem before with other dvd discs
