Cant focus, reduced mental performace, awareness??????? i need help.

Hello. Im 17 years old. Last monday night, i was not able to sleep because i had a high fever, watery stool, vomitting and diziness. It was the first time it happened to me. as a consequence, i was absent during class. Im fine except for the fact that im finding it hard to focus on anything and Im performing poorly in class. Im an honor and i find it anoying that i suddenyl find it hard to listen let alone compose an essay. Im good at essays. I know its probably caused by the ilness, but is this temporary? i will be participating on a quiz bee soon and im getting worried.
 
Well I think that the only sollution to your problem may be a thorough check up at your doctors office. I had the same problem once and it has just passed with time. My doctor told me not to worry, but of course that might not be your case.
