Can't find channel on TV for new XBOX!?

How do I connect my new Xbox to my TV? Ive got a DVD Player scarted to TV. Sky scarted to TV. Xbox scarted to TV. The DVD Player over rides the Sky when I turn it on and go to AUX on the by the DVD remote, but there's no sign of the Xbox over riding anything! The outdoor arial goes into the Sky box.
I would most appreciate your help anybody that is an expert on connections!
