I cant seem to edit this and make it stick.
I enter my nuraber, but always changes back.
How can I eidt this?
when I go through the Mediacenter(09 version)
that area is greyed and not editable

Im using an LG Voyager if that helps.
I know we had to make a chage to File.db to be able to edit settings in the phone, so maybe there is a file for this that I need to edit as well?
Someone has to know about this stuff.
Im stuck...Help

At this point, with your troubles, I would recommend either A.) Trying a different computer, if possible, or B.) Re-Installing your current computer.

We've had to do B.) several times at our shop.

why would reformatting my computer and reinstalling my OS make it so the phone has that area editable?
maybe im not being explaining this right.
what i mean is this. Remeraber when you had to change file.DB with the hex editor so you were able to edit settings on the phone because they were not editable?
That is the problem I am having now, but in a differnt area of the phone.
If you hit ##program10000 and get in that menu, then go to media center settings (09 version, Maybe called Get it now settings on older versions, Im not sure) Then scroll down down to Subscriber ID and you will see that you cant edit the field here. I need to edit mine, thats what Im trying to figure out

ok. Well I guess im going to have to schedule a time and reformat now since i can only get into nvedit with a 9800 DLL and every time I edit that field it never sticks. arghhhh
so not going to be happy if that doesnt solve this issue

Update: Just to let people know I figured out how to edit that field.
Was not getting all the info I needed was the problem.
You have to make an edit in 2 different places.
One on the system Tab, and one on the Brew or the save wont stick.
strange thing is though now its edited to my nuraber, but my phone thinks its roaming. Im a little stumped at the moment. I saved the nuraber that was in there so I can change it back just in case.

Bad news.

I have my daughter's Voyager fully flashed and kept the music player in-tact. For future reference, do NOT edit the Brew tab!

ok, youre on cricket. when you go to metro and have your phone flashed, you lose the aps.
I could care less about having a music player. I have one in my car, and if I need something out of there then its an mp3 player in th Gym.
WIth my network, editing brew tab also allows for a lot of free downloaRAB.
