I'm a 24 year old female. 5'10 144 lbs. I'm joining the Navy. I need to be able to do at least 30 push ups in a 2 min time frame by April of 2010. How can I build up my upper body strength? I want this, I will work hard for it.

I can do the run, sit ups, and swim with no problem. I just have ZERO upper body strength. I'm a ovo-vegetarian (I eat eggs).
