Cant decide: Pontiac vibe or Nissan Sentra?

I am looking to buy a used car, and I can't decide between 2007-2008 Pontiac vibes, or a 2008 Nissan Sentra. I liked the way the Nissan Sentra handles, and its a nice size, but I haven't tried the vibe yet.

If anyone knows anything about the practicality of both (I'll be in the city) please let me know which the better choice would be!

The Vibe is more practical since it is larger and has more trunk space.
It is also more powerful.

Both cars are very reliable.
The Nissan is a great car too. The only problem I have with it is design and location of the shifter. It is like the shifter in a minivan.

I would get the Nissan if it is the Nissan SE-R, which has more power and is most fun to drive.
If not, I would get the Pontiac Vibe.
