Cant connect to safari on iphone 3g.?

i have an actiontec router i have all the correct settings i think in my phone ive done resets on my phone and done some manually entering data into my phone. when i turn wifi on it shows actiontec then the icon which idicates its connected. at the home screen at the top left i see the little half circles i guess? up there wifi connected right? now i click safari and it says safari cant open i also cant access youtube and email either but 3g all of this Works Fine. any help is appreciated thank you! wifi has worked at my friends house to maybe its my router if you have a solution thanks
