Can't apply for financial aid but don't want parents to pay?

My problem is that I am interested in going to a prestigious uni, like Yale or something similar.I have been obsessed with it since I was very little, and I know that (sadly) Yale and the other Ivy League schools only offer need-based financial aid. However, my family does pretty well and stuff, and I am very stubborn in the fact that I DO NOT want my parents to pay for my college fees, and want to pay them myself. So, what do I do? How can I apply and make sure that my parents don't have to pay? Should I get a student loan? Or scholarships? But how do I apply for these scholarships? Please help.

(This is just for universities in general. Please don't emphasize on the Ivy League part)
