I really can't afford to go get a partial highlight at a salon:[ I have extremely long, wavy blonde hair, that's halfway down my back so its $$$. I'm a natural blonde, but as I get older, my hair gets darker and darker. My roots are almost a dark brown and they're really growing. I thought about just going to get my usual trim and waiting to save up for the color. Is there anything temporary I can do in the meantime to lighten up my roots?
And please don't suggest I visit a beauty school. I have already tried that. I need a master student to work on my hair because it's so long, and the cost is about the same as a normal salon.
