I am new to high quality cameras / DSLR's, so I would like some help. I saw the Canon PowerShot and it seemed like a really nice camera. The Sony doesn't have video, and I am an amateur youtuber, so the video was important to me. Being a beginner, and having never touched a DSLR, is the PowerShot's quality that different than the Sony? They both are 14.1 MP and both within $50 of each other, so the price isn't a problem. To sum it up, is the Canon a good camera and is the 720p video good on it, and would it being a high quality point and shoot compare to the quality of the Sony's entry level DSLR?
