I'm not too sure how to describe this, but I'll try.
I have a Canon EOS 550d which is love, but I can't afford and external flash just yet so I've been using the built in one. I normally use it if I'm going out with friends or something, and I'll end up having to put it on manual focus instead of auto because it does this really strange thing.
When ever it's auto focusing, the flash starts going off (not like it's taking pictures, but it just flashes a little like bursts while it's focusing). It's REALLY annoying and while sometimes I don't mind manually focusing, it would just be easier to have it on auto, but I can't use that because my flash is bright enough without it bursting at everyone before it even takes the picture.
So, my question is how can I stop my built in flash from doing the weird burst thing while auto focusing? Thanks.
