I have a canon ae-1 camera and right now i'm trying to figure out how to use the apertures through an online source.
this source states that the camera should have "f-stops" (which are aperture sizes or whatever) and should read as so:
F/1.4, f/2, f/2.8, f/4, f/5.6, f/8, f/11, f/16, f/22, f/32.
well my lens which is just a "canon zoom lens fd 35-70mm 1: 3.5-4.5" (this is what it says on the lens)
the aperture labels or what i assume they are begin with:
3.5, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22
it doesn't have an F/3.5 just the number.
so my question is how do i go about using it? and why doesn't it have the aperture listings that the online source says it should have?
ALSO, it has two lines a blue one and a pink one that are above the aperture sizes and i'm not sure whether to line up the f/stops with the blue or the pink one or to put it in-between?
can someone help please? thank you guys. i hope it's not too confusing.
