I recently had my Tungsten T3 lock up---To resolve the issue, I performed a hard reset. I successfully reinstalled the apps from the puter back to the T3 and they seem to work properly. What is NOT working is the install program to install new apps. I perform the hotsync---the files still show on the puter when finished. As it finishes the hotsync, I get the message after the "cleaning up" stage of the hotsync to reset my unit (a "reset"icon is showing at the bottom of the screen at this time). Doing so brings the unit up appearing normal. Going to the hotsync log however, shows that the snyc was NOT successul. The other peculiarity comes at the beggining of the hotsync where I get a window with my name where I must click it for the hotsync to start ( I never had to do this before). I suppose all these problems are related, but I am out of ideas. If it comes down to reinstalling the software, what folders do I need to back up besides the one that has my name on it? Thanks--hope someone can help !
