Cannot connect to phone

I am now able to open webjal and run the program, but the program won't connect to my phone. It keeps giving me the message "The application was unable to read the required phone information. Please check cable connection and preferences."

I already checked the box that says connect with USB cable, and the baud rate is at 19200. Any help?
 
I just got mine hooked up after much frustration.

Ok, here goes. I use MyJal, I had connected the phone before I installed the drivers (for XP). Doing that will screw things up, don't know why but it does. I was instructed to uninstal the program and the drivers to clear up the problem. Then re-install the program, then the drivers. and not hook up the phone until you have to, as in ready to hit the connect to phone button. If the XP driver loader comes up direct it to the Motorolla drivers that you have saved to your hard drive.
I have the programs/drivers saved and can e-mail then to you.
 
its pretty easy,u just have to end any games or anything running.Go to settings,then go to adavnced,and go to baud rate.Change it to 115200 ,now go to ur webjal settings and change the baud rate to the same thing,apply changes and ur set
