My Candy CPCA 270FFK LED light and internal fridge light keeps clicking on an off. It's as if a relay is trying to operate, then releases. Eventually the motor kicks in and the fridge starts to work but I came down to a warm fridge this morning. Have got it going again by switching it off & on again and after much clicking it started working again. Is it time to buy a new fridge freezer or is there a fairly simple answer to this. Don't fancy food poisoning much!
Many thanks in anticipation....

Most probably a thermostat problem.
Most fridge freezers have a life span of fifteen years, after that you got to think about how economical it is to have them repaired.

If it has two compressors in the back it will have two independent thermostats, so will require replacing the fridge one.

Thermostats are quite cheap to buy, but most guys charge on average one hundred pounds to supply and install one.
Some engineers will not charge you anything for a estimate others will rip you off. so be carefull.

Is the clicking coming from the back? If so then it would be the device that starts the compressor. Not to expensive to buy and super easy to change. You will need to bring your model number with you to an appliance parts store. It sure be around 45 or so unless it is special. make sure you unplug it before you start working on it. Let me know if I can help you further.
