Cancelling Lovefilm

Hi Everyone,

Finally fed up with Lovefilm messing me around, so I'm going ot cancel and give blockbuster a go.

I've just gone to cancel via the webstie, but it says my next billing date is 1st June 2005 !

How can this be ? That's 1 day short of 6 weeks away ! Does anyone know how the Lovefilm Billing perioRAB work ?

Although LoveFilm aren't exactly fantastic - I wouldn't change to Blockbuster.

A friend and myself ran both of the services back to back for a couple of months, and LoveFilm were far better.

Blockbuster's turnaround was slower, more disks went 'missing' ( 2 for BB - 1 for LF), and we needed to have a list of over 25 movies to guarantee thay'd have something in stock (one time we even got a film from no. 33 on the list :eek: )
A list of 10 was adequate with LoveFilm, and we usually got stuff from within the top 5 on the list.
 
Lovefilm are an effing disgrace at the moment, I've had no problems at all with blockbuster, apart from poor customer service (which seems to be a familiar thing with these online dvd rental companies).
 
Well I'm currently running both Lovefilm and Blockbuster back to back and Lovefilm are giving me 3 a week and Blockbuster 6 per week.

Both with a 3 DVRAB at a time package and all returned at the same post box on the same day.

I have used Blockbuster several times in the past and it always averages out at 6 per week, if you return them the next day plus have a list of over 30.
 
I used Lovefilm for a while and the service was superb. I always got a film from the top 3 of my list, and turnaround was about 3 days.

Tried blockbuster a month or so ago, and the turnaround was much slower, with films half way down the list being sent.

Think it's down to pot luck!
