Hi everyone. I know that when you sign up for an account you sign the 2 year agreement.
Here is the problem I am 18 and have been on a family plan for the past 4 years. We love in Chicago and get perfect coverage and very fast data speeds. We have not called one time to complain about service.
However I started school in Bloomington Indiana and in my dorm room I get absolutely no service. I have to walk outside the building to make a call. In most of my classes I don't get one, in the library I don't get one and in all my friends dorm I don't get one. Also I have the evo and it let's me connect to the secured wifi that the school offers however everytime the phone goes to sleep it disconnects from the wifi and cannot reconnect unless I re enter my username and passcode. Our passcode has to be 4 words!!
I called sprint complaining and they offered me an airwave which helps with only my room! Not to mention the airwave doesn't help with the crappy 3G speeds I get (.026 mbps) compared to 1-2 in Chicago.
Also I still won't get a signal in my classes, in the library, and every one of my friends dorms!
Has anyone has a similar situation and had any luck canceling without the ETF.
Tmobile ATT and verizon all get coverage in the dorms but sprint stinks downthere.
