CANADIAN UNIVERSITY HELP...?

Hi I am currently about to start my freshman year at a Canadian university I am going into an honours bachelor of arts in environmental studies....except the only reason why I chose to do that is because I didn't have the prerequisites to into biomedical science which is what I always wanted to do...if i get the necessary prerequisites would it be too late for me to completely change degrees and still graduate within the 4 year time period...considering i work extra hard and take summer courses
