Consider this an arbitrary example which parallels the story of my friend. Lets say my buddy works at Red Lobster as a cook. During a particularly stressful day at work, he walked out in the middle of the shift. The employer later informed him that his tips for that day would not be included in his regular, weekly tipout. Simply put, is this legal in Canada?
