less than a week after bringing puppy home, he got sick with coccidia to the point where he had to be hospitalized and hooked up to IV's.The rescue center where I addopted him said that he was tested two days before I picked him up and tested negative. They said that it was most likely stress related.Is this right? I find it hard to beleive that he could get that sick in less than six days form the time he was tested.
can your puppy get cocidia just a week after being tested negative?
