I was clearing my throat about 4 days ago and when I did, I coughed really hard and felt like something shot into my wind-pipe, but not a chocking sensation because I could still breathe normally as far as I could tell.. more like a quick jab to the inside of my throat.. I examined my adam's apple in a big mirror afterwards and, to me, it seemed like it was lower than usual. So, could this be the case? If so, can it cause more serious complications at all?.. Thank you everybody for your time and answers.
