Can you use Push To Talk to call from Verizon to Nextel?

Lets say I have a Push To Talk cellphone from Verizon, Can I call (using Push to Talk) Boost, Sprint, and other networks or the Push to Talk option from Verizon is only available for Verizon to Verizon?
