Can you use Federal Pell Grants to pay for other financial needs?

I am currently going to a tech school in Wisconsin, and I was awarded a Federal Pell Grant. I got a good amount of money from it, and my fiance and I are wondering if we can use the extra money to get an apartment together. Will they send me a check in the mail with the extra money so I can use it to move out?
