I bought a mini tea cup set at Michael's and I want to paint it a different color. Will acrylic paints works? The tea set is really shiny so it's already sealed, it's white and plain. I've tried this before with spray paint and ruined my tea set because there was a ton of tiny air bubbles and uneveness and it dried so fast there wasn't time to take it off and it really stuck. I'm guessing the spray paint is my best choice but how can I spray into all the nooks and crannies and still get it evenly painted without drips or bubbles? Is there any other way to paint this?
