Can you use a Sprint phone for Boost Mobile?

Well, I am changing to a Boost Mobile plan in 2 weeks, and I don't really like their phones, and I have gone on youtube and there are some videos where there are people using Sprint phones for Boost Mobile and I have Verizon Wireless right now, and I want the phone, Samsung Exclaim, from Sprint. Is there a way I can get that phone but in the Boost mobile service? If not I will get the new Samsung Rant from Boost Mobile.
 
Well, I think the only way to have a sprint phone on boost's network and services are to buy it from Boost Mobile itself. You will know if the phone is from Boost's services because it will have the original Boost colors on the menus and the background will have the orange logo(but you can change it after personalizing I'm sure). The phone also will be available to look at on Boost website, like the Rant.

I have been meaning to update my cell to Boost Mobile Samsung Rant since two days ago after I found out about it.
