Can you transfer all the photos from an Ipod Touch back to a Mac?

I use an Ipod touch 2G and my memory in my laptop was wiped out. I got all my songs back, but all my photos are valuable and I can't get them back. Is there a free software or something that can help me? I BEG, HELP ME. THESE PHOTOS ARE VALUABLE.
