Can you tell me what might be wrong with my 1979 Chrysler NewYorker 440?

Ok, it normally takes about 5 seconds of cranking for it to fire up, and that is with only 1 press of the gas pedal and on a moderate 55* day.

Recently, in the mornings it when it cranks, it will sound weak and it will begin firing slightly weirdly, sort of like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4Aa0__0vVg

The problem is getting progressively worse, and I am unsure as to what to do... It might be the carburetor, but im not exactly sure.
 
Oh I remember the days. I had one of these cars but with the 380 in it. Very fussy motors. Everything that was built on that car was not made to work together. Very hard to start. The planets and moons need perfect alignment in order to drive and operate this vehicle.
Try a better and more powerful coil. Stronger battery also. Gas today is not made for that style motor. It needs high octane. Use thin oil. Keep the motor as cool as possible. Get bigger radiator/more cores.

Secret is more starting power for motor and better fuel and keep it all cool. Make sure computer module is grounded.
