My parents promised a gaming PC, and I have worked my butt off to earn it. However, none of us know much about what a gaming PC requires; in my dad's case, he believes a gaming computer to be anything that can run Minesweeper without too much lag. He set the budget for $800, being that through his work he gets discounts on much more expensive items. However, he doesn't understand that you need an awesome video card and a lot of memory, and just yells "I'll buy you a bigger computer then!" when I bring it up. I have a feeling that the computers he can get through his work are all Dell, however, and I have heard poor reviews of their products. So I ask you, would you please list the things I will most likely need to add on to the base components of whatever computer I buy?
~Computer will be running RTS games, MMORPGs (for a time) and the game Mount&Blade.

No more than two games at a time, though. Probably Warhammer Online and M&B first.
