Can you switch plans with Bell Canada?

I got my palm pre, in december & the plan sucks.
So can I switch to a student plan?

& since it's unlimited texting can I still text the States without getting charged?
I have 2500 free text messages, & i text the states and I don't get charged..
if i get unlimited text will I get charged?
