Can you sue someone in small claims court if you have a J.D.?

That is, if you personally have a J.D. and want to sue? You aren't bringing someone in to represent you, but are representing yourself just as everyone else does. You're not licensed as an attorney.

Thanks

You don't need an attorney when you go to small claims court; you can represent yourself and do not need to be an attorney or have an attorney's license. The thing you need to know is the amount that is the maximum which small claims court will cover. I think it is $500. in my state. Check with your County court house and see if they will give you the maximum amount you can sue for.
