I have a Web site that is live and stable. All I want to do for now is enable the client to edit a paragraph on the home page. I am going down the WordPress path because the plan is to add a blog later, and because I need to learn WordPress.
I'm working with the default twentyten theme. I replaced styles.css with my own CSS, but the WP HTML generator injected a ton of code that overrides most of my settings. Since I have a fully designed site, I don't want to modify a bunch of templates to recreate it. Is there a way to tell WP to leave my code alone and just publish it the way I wrote it? Or is there a minimalist theme that won't mess around with my HTML?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
